Elizabeth Brunette, or just Libby, as we call her, is one of our first three cocker spaniels. We had a male and we wanted some little girls. We adopted both Libby and Fanny from the same person. They are littermates, but Fanny is a bright red. We called Libby "Brunette" because she was our little dark haired girl. Libby is a quiet little girl. She has little quiet, sweet ways about her, but let her see a cat, even if about a mile away, and she goes into action. She loves to bark at or chase cats. Libby is a very loving and caring mother. Through the years she has given us many beautiful puppies. We retired Libby after she had given us many fine babies. She was one of our first girls when we had only three cockers. She passed away at the age of 8 with breast cancer. She is sorely missed. We hope there are many cats for her to chase across the Rainbow bridge |
